Sorry, but we can't tell if you mean design, technique, tools, timing, whatever?? This juniper prunes the same as all the others. Maybe you should browse around a little and come back with some specific questions!
Regards, Matt

Well, pinching is different than pruning. I don't know how much you know about bonsai, so I don't want to pre-suppose what you do (or don't) already know.
If you are right handed, with the fingers of the left hand you can grasp a bough of the tree between thumb and the edge of your forefinger, and then pluck away the parts that extend. In this way the density will increase. You will also need to thin the growth periodically to ensure that the tree remains healthy. When trimming with scissors you need to be careful not to cut through green foliage or they will likely brown back from the tips, almost certainly if it is mature (scale) foliage. On the juvenile, (needle) foliage you can sometimes cut carefully at the nodal segments and avoid complete dieback. That is a common way to handle Needle juniper and Cryptomeria, which cannot be pinched so easily. Pinching and thinning are ongoing maintenance tasks. Regards, Matt
