Orange Jasmin

New to my collection is oragne jasmin, went to my old work and they were selling 4 inch startes for 3 bucks. So here are my questions
Water (how often, moist, dry)
Soil (best mixture)
Fertilizer (what kind)
Pruning (roots and branches, best time to)
Trunk Thickening (trunk chopping, easiest way)

Orange Jasmin

KZ,

I'll bet that your Oragne Jasmin has a trunk like a toothpick? If you want to promote trunk growth, let it grow freely for a good 5yrs or so in a regular planter. They are beautiful, but unfortunately, they are extremely slow growers!

They are acid lovers so feed it miracid once a month fall/winter.

Here is a link...http://www.bonsai-bci.com/species/murraya.html

Good Luck,
Cheryl
