I can't imagine Oaks being a problem, but here in Florida we are over run with "exotics" of all kinds that have become major pests.
The infamous brazilian pepper, punk trees, Chinese tallo trees, Potato vines, Australian pines, and of course, who hasn't seen cudzu...... Not to mention the exotic critters that we have, like the marine toad, all manner of parrots, iguanas, boa constrictors, and the list goes on. You really can't be too careful about this stuff. I didn't even get into the aquarium fish that people dumped that are becoming a problem.....
