Looking For English Oak

I've been lookin for an oak tree to get preferable in seedling form or seeds. I've seen alot the trees native to california and the states but i cant get over how much i love the English Oak(Quercus robur). I've been lookin all over for them but i cant find them. I live in the midwest zone 5 and im probably not goin to the european area to get one. So if anyone knows where to get an english oak in here id like to here about it.

thanks,
kevin

sorry to be the one to say this guys but sending seeds & stuff like that is very very illegal in some countries, example: my grandmothers brother is visiting from austrailia at the moment & they all went off visiting our local garden centres & they all bought a few plants etc... BUT the only problem is they cant take them back home with them when they go due to laws that ban you from taking plants, vegetables, animals etc... its to stop deseases & also some species might not be right in a different countries climate, so i would look very carefully into it before you start sending seeds & stuff all around the world coz you might end up in jail! then you will have no bonsai atall

You can find quercus robur pretty easily at US nurseries. It's used comonly as a landscape tree.

Just in case you end up in jail...

Ben Oki told us that he did regular workshops for inmates.
You may be able to book him if you are lucky.

I never did send them. I checked the USDA site and it basically said "Don't even think about it."

So I planted some in my bonsai patch and have lots of seedlings now...
