Larix green is dying...

Hello all,
My Larix was doing well during winter and because it was very mild this year it formed beautifull new green buds of which all came out nicely. I protected against spring frosts and watered well, however after a few weeks the smaller green pines started shrivelling up and dried out. Some of the larger green pines survived but I'm worried and don't know what to do. Should I remove the dried out leftovers?
When the green buds started coming out I put some organic fertilizer on top of the soil but since then no more, and as soon as the leaves started to go I removed the organic fertilizer. The fertilizer was special for Bonsai.
Did I use the wrong stuff or something else the matter?
Any info greatly appreciated...
regards,
Eric

Re: Larix green is dying...

I doubt you would have problems with an organic fertilizer. Over/underwatering is the cause of the majority of bonsai deaths.

The remainder are caused by too much warmth from the TV set. But I don't think that was the case here

Regards,

Matt
