Backbudding? Please Help?
Hi Folks,
Try hard as I might don't seem to be able to get some answers, so here's another shot. Does Winter Jasmin backbud on old wood? Please help, Nigel

Absolutely, just don't wait around hoping for it to happen.
Fertilize well, wait a week or two, then cut it back to wherever you want growth. It's a shrubby vine. As an example of its regenerative powers - here's a suggestion if you get spider mites: "Problems: If plants become infested with spider mites, cut them to the ground after blooming and discard the infested plant material.
