Ixora

I recently bought an Ixora bonsai but have not been able to find out anything about it. If anyone has any info on the care of this tree, I'd appreciate any help available.

Re: Ixora

Hi There Soildoc,

There are a couple pages out there on Ixora

First, a couple to make you drool with envy

http://www.bonsai-indonesia.com/english/nominasi2.htm

http://www.bonsai-indonesia.com/english/nominasi4.htm

my bonsai spider senses indicate that one of these was a tree that nearly won the JAL World bonsai contest in 1999:
http://www.jal.co.jp/bonsai/R-upr1.html

No pics here, but a little care info.

http://www.littletrees.com/ixora.htm

Regards,

Matt

Re: Ixora

Hmmm. Someone didn't pay their internet bill. I'm glad it wasn't me

The trees were comparable to the one on the JAL site, but the photos were much more vibrant. Hoperully that site will come back up.

I emailed them, but it bounced.

Regards,

Matt

Re: Ixora

I was able to see them right after Matt's first response. The trees were unbelieveable. I can't get in now though.
