Can anyone help?

I know this is a Bonsai forum, but after some of you gave me some great help in the Beginners section about starting from scratch (I haven't started yet but will be very soon!!), I actually have a question regarding a completely different plant!!!

I have grown from seed a couple of Sea Island Cotton Plants. The seedlings are still only about 10 days old now but the tallest one is already about 6-7 inches tall.....

My questoin is (if any one knows out there!!) is how do i look after Sea island Cotton? How big does it grow and does it need any special treatment? AND can it be turned into a Bonsai??

Any help would be great!!!

I'm trying to recall what I remember of seeing cotton growing and it seemed to be a sort of chest-high thistle. Of course, I was a bit shorter then I suppose you could present it as an accent of some sort, but I wouldn't hold much hope for getting much in the way of longevity or dwarf character.

Some links for you

Thanks for the info Matt! The second site is helpfull as it tells you timescale of growth etc, but I also really need to know what sort of position to keep the plant in(shady/sunny etc) and also about in special feed requirements and watering amount!!

so if anyone has any more info...!!!

thanks again for all your help.
