Ficus

Usually, when one of my ficus does this I throw it away and get a new one due to the availability and cheepness, bout now, I am becoming serious and low of money, so I ask Dr; Bonsai:
I have about 8 to 13 ficus trees wrapped together to fuse into one, well one of the trees is getting a wrinkly skin and the leaves are all wilting, I have thrown a few away for this same reason, but I never cared if it did, when I have though, I sometimes cut them up too look at the tre, and they are all brown with the cambium and the inside isnot dry but rotten almost. So is there anything you can thing off to fix it?

Re: Ficus

I would be interested in hearing some opinions or educated guesses about Mr. K's previous post. I also have (had?) a ficus that did the exact same thing. Wilting, then dropping leaves, shriveling bark, and dessicated twigs. I haven't performed the autopsy yet but probably soon. Killing a ficus is quite an accomplishment as I understand it.....Mike

Ficus

My new ficus neriifolia as everyone who read about it lost its leaves, now they are growing back, however...
The leaves are so pale, and almost see through... They6 do have pigment, but it seems like very little, this has happened on some older deader ficus benjimina and I do not want it to happen to this one, is this a cause of a deficiency from fertilizer? I just transplanted it 4-6 weeks ago, but I don't want another to die...

I hope I merged this with the right thread. In any case, is the tree indoors or out?

Regards,

Matt

I beleive it was merged correctly, and it is indoors, just moved recently however... within a week, and was just starting to loose leaves.
