hi

what are your views on the evolution of trees, i was reading something about how most trees were at one point in history conifers but then deciduous trees came round and they started to take over. You think they will take over eventually? I couldn't wait for my pinky's to shrink to stubs so i just hacked them off. Gonna tune up the chainsaw tomorrow.

Conifers aren't necessarily non-deciduous

Some of the oldest trees on earth are deciduous conifers, like Ginkgo and Metasequoia, both of which happen to make fine bonsai.
