Chinese Elm Overwintering: Indoors Or Out?
i recently acquired a nice little chinese elm that was imported from china. i was wondering, can it be kept inside over winter, as i've read in a book i have, or is it still best to let the leaves drop in cold, but above frost temperatures?

Frost isn't usually a problem with Chinese Elm. Maybe if the soil freezes at a significantly lower temperature you could have problems. Check the Related Threads at the bottom of the page, too.
