Trust me....it's luck, not smarts. My nine year old daughter just got her E.O.G.'s (grades of the quarter and age testing) and is extremely gifted. She also likes to help with the bonsai.
Didn't one of the robber barons once say to succeed you have to surround yourself with smart people? In my case, it's even more important!!!
I bet you will get yours to enjoy bonsai as well. My advice is get them some inexpensive (but forgiving) material, and let them have free reign with it. That's what got Ashley and Casey interested. I think I posted on that about a year back (I'll try to find the thread).
