These are indeed good material!!! Having said that I can only caution about startin to work on them too soon (it has only been a year ,I believe you said on the first two). I collect quite a lot of these and on any material that is gleaned from the wild I wait a least three years to be on the safe side. I only say this from the experience of having lost trees due to being over-anxious.Take your time and in that extra two years I bet you will have a better idea where the (inner )tree is in each one.
