I personally don't like the rainbow-shaped bend in the trunk. Look at photographs of well-designed cascade trees, either online or in books. I think you'll find this gradual bend to be very rare among those, for a reason.

Try sharper angles instead - I think there's little substitute at this point for looking at lots of previous trees and carefully studying what makes them effective.
