I would use the first side, personally. And, I would probably also thread graft on a strong root on the side opposite the branches, and bend out the others more flat. It would serve to visually anchor the tree to the soil, and allow for proper taper to develop.
I would also try adding some bends to the lower branch to see how it looked.

Potentially, This could be a really wicked cascade tree(non -windswept). The trunk movement is perfect. It already almost has a nice triangle canopy if the lower branch was wired up.
