Started again on my cypress forest. Did a bit of clean up so I could get some wiring done. But when I got done with the trimming I liked what I saw. No wire needed. ;o)
The branches need to thicken up a bit and maybe the outside edges of the foliage needs to be cleaned up a bit but I think I'll stop at that.
Cypress knees are popping up in a few places. (picture 2) That is pretty cool I think.
As soon as I can get 4 or 5 people together to help move it I'll put it in my display area. Then I will start on some kind of ground cover for it.
Forest might be a misnomer. I am doing my best to make it look like one of our local swamps. There is a difference. That will make the ground cover a bit tricky. It needs to look a bit dark and foreboding.
