Don't panic.
I have repotted American larches (Tamaracks) thoughout the year, before and after bud break, sometimes they respond well and others, well you know.
I have collected larches up until July and also repotted up until August in zone 5 without many deaths. This being said, always try and repot when the buds are bronze and before you can see any green. They do always respond better at this time.
Don't give up and do not over care for them with water or food, just treat them as normal, larches can and do rebud most times.
Next time forget the 100% Terragreen and use a courser mix. I use 2 parts aged pine bark, 1 part lava rock, and 1 part turface for my larches, they respond well to it.
