LOL Chris, we've had this discussion before and I'm glad to see it revisited. As Chris knows I met a few members of our bonsai club before I was a member by posting pictures of the exhibit. At a recent board meeting of our club we had several members who are adament about posting pictures of their trees on not just any forum on the web but also on the club's website. The question back to them was how can we promote our club without showing others what we do? They are fine with other's trees being posted, but not theirs because of (1) security issues (which since there's no attribution at the show or on the picture someone is a real sleuth) and (2) they didn't want just anyone in the world critiquing their trees.
