I actually love selling Hondas for a living. I have a product that I never have to worry about, I surprise my customers with a great car buying experience, and last month I made $6000 plus benefits!

About the "Additional Dealer Markup." When I was selling Mazdas years ago, the Miata was brand new. We were selling them for $1500 over sticker to people who paid that and then made twice that amount of profit by turning them around again. Of course the bubble didn't last long, but who exactly got ripped off? The person who was willing to pay whatever it took to get the first one? Or the guy who turned a profit?

Anything in this world is only worth what the highest bidder will pay for it. It's called capitalism, and it's the only truly moral economic system and system of government. It's my choice to sell a high quality product and place more emphasis on making the transactions fun and easy. I could just as well have chosen to sell an inferior product and make it my goal to maximize profit on every deal, even if it made enemies. But it's in my best interest to do it my way. Why? I sell extra cars in the bargain. People come back to me again and again. I don't want to sell them a car, I want to make them a lifelong customer, so I can relax a little and enjoy life more in just a few years.
