we have some of these same trees here in our backyard, and it has really started to take off growth-wise since starting to warm up the last few days. the weather recently has been hot, rainy, and extremely humid. i think they like this weather. i used to have one out in california, and from personal experience, they dont take too well to salt-air (i used to live on the beach in santa barbara).
