I went walking through the nursery one day
It wasent May but one day in early April I was wandering through a local nursery and stumbled upon a bunch of forgotten Ginko Biloba "Pendulas".
Thay looked as if thay had been there a very long time. The few price tags that were left on the trees were faded and impossible to read. I noticed one of the Ginks had lots of suckers trying to start and it looked as if the nursery had pruned them back severl times in the past. That got my attention but not planing to spend money (especially at that nurserys prices) I left them there that day.
All that night I kept thinking of that tree and the possibilitys. Even had a dream about it. So the Next day I went back and talked to the Owner. Since the tag was missing and all the others were unreadable I managed to talk her into selling it to me for 20 bucks!!!

Many of those trees were my friends, creatures I had known from nut and acorn; many had voices of their own that are lost forever now. And there are wastes of stump and bramble where once there were singing groves. I have been idle. I have let things slip. It must stop!"
