Hi Coillur.

A picture could help us here. (I have an idea that what you really have is a Chinese elm perhaps).

Some basic advice though - your tree should be outside the house, not inside. It will do MUCH better outside. The light levels inside a room are only about 1/100th of that of a sunny summer's day.

You may also be watering too much if you are not letting the soil dry out ever. Try only watering when the soil is dry below the surface.

If this is an elm, it could also be that the old leaves are getting replaced by this year's new growth = nothing to worry about. Either way, please get the tree outside somewhere.
