I agree with John - this is the best tree posted so far on this section and he has done a great job again with his virtual of the possible future look.
Here is my opinion. (I have 20+ years experience but would class myself as an enthusiast and NOT as an expert - so newbies please do not take this as expert instruction).
It is a very masculine tree and deserves a fairly "heavy" pot to blend in with the trunk size an image. I have selected one to blend with the bark colour and texture, which has the added advantage of being suitable for the tree in ALL seasons - even if it is displayed without foilage. The present pot is far too small and the tree is planted too high. Here I have moved the trunk off centre as John noted earlier - more to the left and also lowered it down into the deeper pot. There was too much moss before, which has now been removed.
A very nice tree and one I would love to have in my collection.
