I see what your saying by the virtual you made up. It does look quite good in fact. After I saw it I went out to have a look, even though I knew what I was going to find, and sure enough, that branch aint bending at that point.
It's pretty solid up until it branches off about a quarter of the way out. It would really need to bend pretty much where you have it in order to be pleasing to my eye. I also don't really want to remove the branch if I can help it, but I won't keep it if I can't somehow improve on it.
