i have a couple of unshaped [u:f8d2066bb2]japanese maples[/u:f8d2066bb2], and it looks like the trunks are "losing weight," like they are not as "fat" or filled in as say a month or two ago. not that i calipered them or anything, but they just look kinda hungry. is this just normal going into fall/winter, or am i watching too many slimfast commercials?
