I've got a conditional from aberdeen and am still waitin on aberystwyth, bristol, birmingham, manchester and nottingham. Applied for plant biology. Aber and Bristol have HUGE greenhouses, maybe i can get some cool tropicals to grow in them?

I think the planting out into the ground for a few years is a champion idea. Then i wudn't have to worry about my mum forgetting to water them! I'm planning on getting a ficus to take with me, along with a few of my favourite cacti and some orchids. Just hope i can keep those alive in uni conditions, i have no trouble at home so it shouldn't be that bad. A few rocks here 'n' there, posters and i'll be sorted.

Aside, it's best to go into the halls for the first year, that way you get to know people propperly and can have a right good time of it. I went for a taster week at birmingham where i stayed in a hall for a week and it was great.
