I always thought that you can quote someones article, or part of it, when you say so (as I did) and then put it between quotation marks (") as we do in this forum and as I did, or saw others do, in scientific publications.

If I really did made a mistake, can someone tell me how it can be edited so that I an not accused of plagiarism?
