Lets wait and see how it looks after it's worked on a bit ( If it survives, I'm kinda dubious since a piece fell off! ) , replanted and displayed differently.
Did you glaze it with a clear glaze?

BTW, Pootsie, check out this page from the 25 finalists of the first NBF pot competition in 2001. Pretty similar idea. The second pot down on the right. This pot was auctioned off after the competitio and purchased by an IBC'er as I recall.
