It might be a fungus called trichoderma viride. which grows on almost anything when it is very humid.

If the picture and descriptions corresponds with what you have then you can get rid of it by spraying directly on the mould with a 2% sodium hypochlorite solution (bleach). Be carefull not to spray on the trees or living plants around.
