It might be a fungus called
trichoderma viride
. which grows on almost anything when it is very humid.
It looks like this:

If the picture and descriptions corresponds with what you have then you can get rid of it by spraying directly on the mould with a 2% sodium hypochlorite solution (bleach). Be carefull not to spray on the trees or living plants around.
