I think the general question is:

What are some of the oldest confirmed ages of trees owned by the members of this forum?

The question didn't seem to me to be an attempt to spark any thoughtful debate or discussion, just scratching a curiosity itch, which I also have. Anybody out there own any really ancient trees?

For my part, I'm more interested in trees that have been in training for a long time, not really yamadori that could be 1,000 years old but have only been in a pot for a few years. But I can't speak for Larry.
