Hey Tri. I think you have done a great job so far on your trunk design, considering this is one of your first efforts,and you don't know much about " modeling ". Your tree reminds me of those old tall thin pines you see up in the mountains,whose branches have been bent and broken with snow. Don't worry about the small trunk to the left dieing, you can turn it into a dead trunk later. Which will make your compoisition even more believable. I would't do anything else until repotting season for junipers in your area( I don't know when.) Resist the urge to bend the branches back and forth to see what they will look like as, this may kill them. Other than basic care, I would leave it alone until repotting, then I would pot it as a twin trunk, with the thicker trunk a little in front of the thinner one. In the meantime , read and find out all you can about bonsai. Welcome to Bonsai Blue.
