It seems that whenever the word
artist comes into play in these discussions, it always starts to become a word game.

Hate to say it but here on the internet it is almost always a word game. Sad to say more words than bonsai.
A lot of discussions on "is bonsai an art form" or in the case of this thread " is a collector of bonsai a real bonsai person"
The internet is a place where we talk about bonsai. Complain about bonsai and try to tell everyone what bonsai really is.
But sometimes I do wonder if we do bonsai any good.
One would figure with all this "instant access to knowledge" the internet would be a good place to go. A place to get things done.
But is it.
Have we, with our keyboards, commanding all those mega bites, really accomplished anything.
Are we better at bonsai or just better at typing. Just how has the internet improved the art of bonsai.
A half way decent question if you ask me.
I guess I had better go now and hide in the closet . I would imagine that I have offended some and angered more than a few.
Sorry if I bruised any egos. Probably didn't. This, after all, isn't that nameless other forum (IBC but don't tell anyone I said that)
