Darn nice looking 'start' you've got there. I must admit that the post below, my P.Strobus (the tree that "can't be made into bonsai" is the claim from many) had a serious bought with some line men triming trees on an easment at my property line about 5 yrs ago.

We had about a foot of snowand my bonsai were heavily covered. So much so that many were only 'stick's above the snow line. Well when I arrived home that eve I noticed the line of foot prints leading to my reserve.

Devastation in the spring. I wired the tree branch 'back on' and it finally healed over a period of a few years.

Now I think it adds a touch of 'design' to the compostition.
