I didn't even get to the azeala's last night. If you need a showstopper, this place has them. The first picture is of a classical styled azeala. The reast of the photo's show what Brad calls "train wrecks". These are azeala that have lost whole branches, or entire tops from their tree. They are still healthy, whats left of them, and with care could be salvaged into something beautiful. They are fast growers and I am sure that they can be had pretty cheap.

He also had a good amount of small neagri style penjing elms for sale. These look good in small pots or gift giving, or for planting on rocks. I plan on useing mine on the petrified wood that I aquired during the summer.

A last parting shot of little Blake taking me and my wife to our car with all the goodies. This guy is only 6 years old, but handles the golf cart like a pro. I asked him to stop, so I could shoot the photo's of the river and the Monterey pine. He nearly shot my wife and I through the windshield. He knows where the brake pedal is!

Now I don't know how the rest of the USA is when it comes to bonsai capitilists, but out here in California, roadside bonsai stands are on every corner. We passed this one about 1/4 mile from the nursery. I guess this lady who ran the stand figures that if you didn't spend the whole wad at the nursery, she might have a shot at ya when you leave.

Take care and check out the nursery soon. Thanks, Al
