Quite an intereting tree Mike!

Please no offense (I'm a 1 yr rookie at this), but I was very keen on it, clicked the thumbnail and then was distracted by a few items. I like the upper foliage/reminiscent of white pine style IMO. I struggled to see a completeness to the jin's and trunk shape-treatments, how it all ties together overall. I could be missing it all but I found these distracting leaving me unable to sense the flow or story as to how it became what it is? Perhaps if the jin's were combined more so with additional trunk carving to provide more flow it would tie together better for me?
