Help, Please for my Sick Juniper!
I am an 18 year old college freshman, bio major with emphasis in botany, and i just got a bonsai from a friend. He gave it to me because it is on its last leg, it is a juniper in bad condition, about 60% is brown and dry from the tops, under is green. But on some of the outer tips there is new growth and green but brown underneath. It is in a big bowl that had been sitting outside and almost completely full of water. I got some pots to put it in and cleaned out alot of the marbles and stones covering the dirt and got some potting soil. What should i do next? Let the mud dry and replant? Is it even salvagable? Please lend me some advice as i know you guys know your stuff.
