To me, the new angle is perfect or nearly so. The new angle is dynamic, its right angles contrasting beautifully with the twisting sinuous lines of the live veins and gorgeous shari, the base has gone from horrendously reverse-tapered to a very acceptable semi-parallel, the full composition seems exquisitely poised, with the new muscular trunkline harmonising with the foliage mass.
