At first it may seem drastic. I removed foliage/shortened the foliage extending to the right from the bottom most branches (and saved those for future jins.) Then tilted the top foliage down to the right a little, which should be possible still as those areas have less deadwood and are fairly thin (at least in comparison.) I think I tilted the entire planting a little to the right to accentuate the deadwood a bit. I do like the pot I've chosen better than the current pot, but its not perfect either. I don't know if the rootage will allow for a shallower pot yet.
This lends itself to a future windswept or the classic "triangle" bonsai. Nothing TOO drastic when you get down to brass tacks.
