Re: Seeds that do not need stratification?

Entling: The process of cold storage or stratification duplicates the natural, fall from the tree and lay under the snow or on cold ground through the winter. It is not necessary but is does improve greatly the number of seeds that germinate. I keep my seeds dry in plastic baggies in the refrigerator. My black pine seeds are 5 years in the refrigerator and still viable this spring!!!!!!!!!!!go figure. If you store your purchased and collected seeds in the frige they will be stratified when you want to plant them........ripsgreentree
