Layering sure sounds like a good way to get quality stock. You get a good eval of your material...clones. Also just a great replenishable (sp?) source, I'm all for that.

Q: I assume this can be done on most species...how about my SoCal Coastal Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia)? Are they a candidate for [air] layering? I know they are slower growers, any time frame estimates? Other specific tips?
