Larry Mac, this picture was taken in my backyard at night. The tree is sitting on my sun bench, at the end of my bench I have a 6 foot tall 4"x4" with a 100 watt floodlight on it to provide light. I typically use the light to work on my tree's at night as you might imagine. The camera I use is a Sony CyberShot 3.2 meg digital camera; the night photo feature produces the dark backgound while allowing the object being photographed to be seen naturally. I filter the flash with a plain piece of white paper folded in half and completely covering the flash. I kind of stumbled across the results but in my opinion it produces a photo that is rich in color. I got the idea from Collin Lewis's webpage gallery of his own trees.

Forest Reef, thanks for sharing with me about your Loro. I have never heard of anybody else doing a Loro. Can you post a picture of your tree?
