I would appreciate anyone putting me in contact with a bonsai resource in Thailand - Bangkok especially. I am looking to buy a couple of trees, and find someone to learn from perhaps.

A couple of questions - when planting trees in a tropical area do you need to go through the cold stratification process - the seeds I refer to are: bald cypress, giant redwood, trident maple, temple juniper, and Japenese White Pine

The seed packs have a variety of instructions, mostly with 90 day cold stratification required.

I am a total beginner and will appreciate any help, with my questions or in putting me in touch with Bangkok contacts.
