before I saw that I had written this

Then you can either start by attaching or typing.
Before you submit your message you need to make the attachments in the box beneath.
You click the Manage Attachments button and a new window should pop up. It will have a few lines and a button called Browse next to each one.
Click on browse and find a file you want to upload. Continue with the next file
When you have them all, click on upload and they will all be attached at once.
