Turface MVP?
I have used the regular turface for a few years. After reading EVERY post dealing with turface in the search function I ordered Turface MVP. It came in today. This stuff is VERY small compared to the regular turface that i have used.
I just want to make sure that I did not mis read and get the wrong one. I have about 100 azaleas to repot as well as about 75 Ficus, some dwarf gardenias, podocarpus and several junipers and a host of misc trees.
If the Turface MVP is what I should be using which size screen should i use to sift it( sorry but i could not find that in the search function)?
I know that it is getting late in the year, but with the 15 inches of rain last weekend i fear that another tropical storm might cause some real havoc. I have way too many plants to carry indoors. Can the azaleas be repotted this late in the year. Last weekend the water literally ran over the tops of the pots. They are currently potted in 50%pine bark,25%#16 blasting sand, and 25%oil dry. Thanks for being patient.
Forgot to add that the pine bark is aged and sifted when I buy it. It is about 1/4 inch in size. For 20.00 i get ( 3) 55 gallon drums full.
