Anthony,
I live about 15-20 minutes away from you. All my tropicals are still outside. The nighttime temps are still in the high 50's and my trees are all on my deck. This will be the last week my tropicals are outside. I have checked the weather forecast and the lows are going to be in the low to mid 60's at night until about Sat, at which time I will have completed my second indoor greenhouse (I have too many new ones this year to fit in the one I had last year) complete with lighting and air circulation. As far as most tropicals go 45F is the breaking point. If you are concerned though, taking them in at night is a good option. The only thing for me, is that I leave for work at 6:30am, and the temps are still at the nighttime low. I would be concerned that if I brought them in for the night and the inside temp was around 70F and then brought them back outside in the early AM and the temp was in the 50's that it would be a bit of a shock. Besides I have a few too many tropicals to do the "bonsai-two-step".
Hope this helps
Adam
