That makes sense. Yes, we have been having 25-30 nights now for a couple weeks. I've been putting the deciduous trees in the greenhouse at night but maybe I got them out too early one morning or left them out too late. We had some cold mornings with some wind, too.

But your answer would sure answer why I seemed to see it all at once...and also why it turned up on the Hornbeam.

I was afraid I had some horrible virus that was spreading!!

No matter, if it's some kind of burn, I will be more careful in protecting them from the extremes we have.
