However, I find myself very tempted by the "root on root on root" style of the existing back.
I also like the better profile that the trunk has from this view.
Opinions?
I am also planning to (gently) lower most of the larger branches (no surgery required) to open up the foliage.
It is my long-term plan to "widen" the tree by encouraging horizontal growth.
Any ideas about this?
