It is possible, if you have good drainage, and as long as you don't see any Arcs being built, you should be okay.

You could move it under a overhang, large tree, bench, or other object to prevent it from being rained on untill the weather clears. You could also take some plastic wrap and wrap the pot, tenting the wrap on the trunk, using a twist tie so no water hits the soil.
