You again remind me of my impatience. I made what I think will be a nice phoenix graft this spring with a shimpaku. Talk about torture--bent, twisted, screwed to the redwood burl, potted. And every day I'm looking at it and thinking--where's the growth! And then you remind me that it will be two years till it recovers.

I, too, like your trees. They are doing gret.
