Rick:
The Turface MVP is designed to minimize particle disintegration. In bonsai culture, this can mean the difference between developing a fibrous root system or destroying one from too many "fines" over time.
I cannot address your question about the other product.

>Hello everyone, I am back with another Turface question. A couple weeks ago I thought that I had solved my Turface problem. I finally found a nearby store that could get it for me at a very reasonable price, $12.99/50 lbs. When the guy at the store br
ought it up on his computer it said MVP TURFACE so I ordered a couple bags. I just picked it up and it is not MVP Turface and it is not from Profile. Instead it is a product very similiar called Profield Field Conditioner, made by a company called Profi
eld. The bag is green and white and says calcined clay soil modifier on it. Are any of you familiar with this product. If anything the only difference may be that this is finer.
